Happy Fall

I got this cute idea from my dear friend Alayna, one of the most creative and talented people I know. We made this fabulous Pumpkin chocolate chip bread and took it around to friends to say "Happy Fall". I wish I could have made it to all of you. I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful colors and smells of Fall. I love it.

Naked time

This happens a lot right around dinner time. They love to be nakey.

African safari

Sullivan would barely keep this costume on long enough to say Trick or Treat, but him and Owie looked pretty cute.

Welcome Back

We have had a pretty eventful last few months. Jason's brother was married in the beginning of Sept. in Idaho. We all were able to be there as a family and enjoyed every minute. The wedding was in jessi's, the bride, backyard. So pretty. Then the boys and I got to stay in Pendleton for a week to enjoy Round-Up. The boy's first Rodeo. It was awesome. The town was packed with cowboys, indians, and most of all HORSES! Sully was in heaven. The rodeo was crazy. I didn't realize how many people get hurt in those events. Speaking of hurt, Sully fell into his grandparent's brick fire place and cut his eye open. We had to take him to the hospital for three stitches. the worst part is they had to put him under for it. I cried of course, but Sully was so brave. His first childhood scar. Owen is walking and is a little dare devil. He stands on top of everything. I have mini heart attacks daily. He loves wrestling his brother and really gets into it. He turns 1 in a week. So cute! Anyway, Here are some pics of it all, including Halloween. The boy's Grandma was in town to spoil them and enjoy their Halloween costumes.

Fun, Fun, Fun

You know how people say " It's like riding a bike, once you've done it, you never forget" Well , that's sort of true. I only crashed once and Sully will still ride with me. Anyway, I told Jason we need to get bikes, it was so much fun towing the boys around, and they loved it. Also here is a picture of us at the Movie in the Park. There is this huge beautiful park right down the street from my in-laws and they do a movie every Sat. night.

Grandma and Grandpa's House

So, Last Wed. evening, I was talking to Jason, and decided that I needed to take the boys to Pendleton, Or to visit their Grandparents. We are having a Blast! We are staying a whole week, and every day has been filled with treats, the pool, bike rides, movies, and birthday celebrations. We get to be here for Grandpa and Grandma's birthday. Sully is loving all of the Cake! Anyway, Here are some pics of our trip.

Recent Pictures.

A couple of these are from when Jen and Grant were in town. We had a lot of fun , and we miss them tons.

Here's the Update!

Sorry, we got lost for a while, but we are back on the grid. Here is what we have been up to. First of all, Sully turned 2. Yeah, and he is definately 2! He is so grown up and talking so well. The fits are getting bigger, and he knows how to get what he wants, but I love him sooo much. He does this thing where he leans his cheek into you, for you to kiss it. So sweet. We got a zoo pass, and have already been to the zoo about 6 times in the last 3 weeks. The boys love it. Sully knows what animals come next, and Owen just kicks his little feet with excitement when he sees the animals. We also got to spend time with Jason's mom and sister who were in town just recently. The boys love spending time with them. Grandma always brings fun things for them, and just plays all day long. We love her. As for Jason, He was just hired on at a new job in Olympia and is starting his Masters at the University Of Washington in Seattle. He begins in the Fall. He will be busy, but is excited to get back into school. I am excited that warm weather has arrived here in WA, and I can keep the boys outside. That's what's up in a nut shell.

Yeah for Birthdays!

So. yesterday was my birthday, and for those of you who really know me, I Love my Birthday! It is your one day to really be spoiled. Jason and the boys woke up early and went to get me balloons and flowers. They put up my birthday poster and streamers, and made me a fabulous apple crisp breakfast/dessert. Jason was so sweet, he even took both of the boys to play, so that I could have a morning nap. It felt so good. I then went to lunch with my Mom, Aunt Tammy, and my sis. inlaw Heather, oh yeh and all the kids. A little crazy, but really fun. To end my perfect day, Jason took me out to dinner to one of our favorite places Indochine in downtown Tacoma. It was so yummy. We met up with everyone after dinner and had cake and ice cream. Cherry chip cake with rainbow chip frosting of course. It's my fave. It was so cute, Sully and Conner had half of the candles blown out before the song was over. Thanks for my perfect day.

My Boys

I am sooooo in love with my boys. Every day brings a new meaning of Love. Sullivan is hilarious. He is talking so much now, and since when did almost 2 yr. olds talk with so much logic. He makes deals with me, and I just have to laugh. I've been trying to get him to take his binki out during the day, so he can talk better, so I'll say, " sully, can I have your bink please?" and he says, " in a minute" while holding up one finger. He also uses this cute little tactic when I say it's time for bed. Also, he never wants to be left out of something whether it's going to the store, feeding the horses, taking a shower, he quickley says "and me" while pointing to his chest. Love him. As for Owie (o-wee) I can't stop mungling him. He is sooo happy. I just kiss his little fat face a million times a day. He just hangs out like a little dude and goes with the flow.

Sweet tooth anyone?

So, Evan and Heather gave me The Ultimate Cookie Book by Better Homes and Gardens for Christmas this last year, and I finally made my first recipe from it. These are called Marshmallow Snappers. They are incredibly rich, even Jason could only eat 2, and thats unheard of, but they were amazing. After we ate this yummy morsel, Jason made me mark the page with a little bit of caramel. He says that is what you are supposed to do, to remind you that you liked that recipe. Cute.

Great Grandma Wells

Brama and Brampa's House

We spent the weekend in Pendleton, OR, visiting Jason's family. Sullivan was so excited. He saw his Grandma at the door and yelled
"Brama". It was so cute. He saw all of the toys she had for him on the floor, sat down immediately and patted the floor for his grandma to join him. She took us swimming at the local club, it was Owen's first time in a pool of water other than the bath. He really liked it. Sullivan jumped off the edge into his Brama's arms atleast 50 times. The boys are always so spoiled when we go to visit, and let's just say I won't be standing on a scale until I've done a weeks worth of working out. She feeds us really well. My personal favorite were the Cinnamon rolls. To die for! Anyway, Thank you for such a fun weekend. Love and miss you guys already.

Birthday Cake

Sullivan was invited to his friend Dotty's 2yr birthday party. He had a blast. He sang as loud as he could during the birthday song, and even wore the party hat for 8 seconds. After everyone was done with cake, we were sitting in the front room chatting when someone pointed out my Sully-bug sitting at the table by himself, finishing off everyones cake, licking the plates and all. I've created a sugar addict, but isn't he cute. Little Owen was so sweet, content with just hanging out. Love my dudes.

Sunny in Puyallup

We finally had a beautiful sunny day, so we went to the park. Sullivan lives for the outdoors. Every day he says " outside, boots, play." Any time we have a break from the rain, you will find us outside. Sullivan is big enough to go down the slide all by himself. He climbs up there, waits his turn, and loves the rush of the slide. He is growing up, and I am still in awe that he is mine.

Cuzzies!

We get to watch Conner and Orion this next week while Evan and Heather are in Mexico, and Sully loves it. We wish Ruby and Jeffrey were here to join all the madness. These pictures were too cute not to post.
